Hey!
This blog is designed to keep you updated on my preparations for my trip to Costa Rica, keep you informed on what God is doing in my life as I prepare, and let you know after my trip the great works the Lord has performed. After two weeks of prayer asking the Lord to reveal His will for me in this, I am so excited to have an answer, and for that answer to be "yes."
I am excited to see what the Lord will do in my life before, during, and after this mission trip. I pray that He will open the hearts of the children in Costa Rica so that they may be receptive of the Gospel. I also pray that the Lord would teach me about Himself and draw me closer to Him through this experience.
Since this is my first mission trip, I am a little nervous and unsure about several aspects of the trip, but I am excited and I am confident that this is the next chapter in my life story.
The ministry of this trip is mainly to the children in Costa Rica and involves evangelism with drama and songs and also teaching English to the youth.
I am ready to see God work miracles in the lives of the Costa Ricans and in my life as well. I am ready to try my wings and step outside of my comfort zone and experience new and greater things.
I do not know how everything is going to fall into place at the time and date it needs to and I don't know where the money is going to come from, but I do know that God is in control and He will "work everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
